Assistant Support Worker - Bridgewell

Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Hourly Rate : £12.60

Join us at our new scheme, Bridgewell, a warm and welcoming supported living service where we support adults with learning disabilities and social care needs. Our dedicated team provides 24-hour, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

We are looking for compassionate, confident, and capable Assistant Support Workers to become part of our close-knit. In this rewarding role, you will help with personal care, medication, health appointments, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and community engagement. You will also be a calm and reliable presence in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those we support.

About You

No previous experience in care? No problem! We provide a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.

We are looking for people who are :

Passionate, with a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference

Able to communicate effectively and adapt to different needs

Flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays (2-week rolling rota with shifts of 7am-3pm, 9-5pm & 2pm-10pm)

Committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred support. Please note: A minimum of one sleep-in per week is required as part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.

It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence (manual).
