As the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the store team, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. • Support and deputise for the Store Manager in all areas of store operations.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and confident, personalised styling advice.
  • Motivate and mentor junior team members, supporting onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Manage daily administrative and operational tasks including till use, deliveries, and returns.
  • Assist with opening/closing duties and ensure general store security.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with replenishment, and handle stock recalls.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to relevant departments (. buying/merchandising).
  • Ensure all health & safety and store procedures are followed.

The Person

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a premium retail environment, ideally in a supervisory or senior sales advisor role.
  • A warm and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine love for sustainable, stylish fashion and engaging with customers.
  • High attention to detail, well-organised, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A calm, empathetic, and confident presence – especially under pressure.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including tills and logistics software.

What’s on Offer

  • 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Discretionary annual bonus scheme
  • Staff uniform provided
  • Generous employee discount (up to 40%) and access to Sample Sales
  • Friends and Family discount scheme
  • Company pension scheme
  • Regular team events and a supportive working culture
  • Employer is committed to Real Living Wage

If you are an energetic, experienced retail professional who thrives on delivering first-class service in a fashion-forward and sustainable environment, we’d love to hear from you.
