A leading construction company in North East England is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in new housing developments. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of construction processes and previous experience in site management. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards and coordinating on-site labor. Benefits include a generous holiday entitlement and a car allowance.
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager (New Build Housing) to support the Site Manager in the progression, quality and innovation of our clients' new build housing developments. This requires the coordination of all information to allow the development to run through from initial conception to full completion, endeavouring to ensure that all properties are completed within the site programme and budget whilst adhering to safe construction processes of the NHBC and building regulations at all times.
Although there are no direct reports, the Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for managing staff such as Telehandler Operators, Labourers and Apprentices.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on high volume, new build housing developments with an extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour only groundworkers / subcontractors as well as possessing :
