Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing

Location - Congleton

Contract - Freelance

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join the new build housing development delivering housing association timber frame homes. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard of quality and in line with housing association requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
  • Supervise subcontractors and trades, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification
  • Support the delivery of timber frame plots from groundwork's through to handover
  • Monitor quality, progress and workmanship across all stages of build
  • Carrying out plot inspections, snagging and handovers
  • Liaise with housing association representatives, suppliers and internal teams
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects
  • Experience working on timber frame housing is essential
  • Knowledge of housing association standards and specifications
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality control
  • CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid
  • Ability to work as part of a team
