Assistant Site Manager – We have a position available for an Assistant Site Manager to join our site teams based in upper Cufaude, Basingstoke working on a development that comprises timber frame traditional build houses.

Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the development while ensuring Company objectives are met in areas such as safety, quality, production, cost, and presentation.
  • Work closely with the site team to assist with the coordination of contractors and sub-contractors, and manage induction of all operatives and visitors.
  • Organise daily site operations across both construction and general site management.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, and uphold company quality standards in line with NHBC and building regulations.
  • Manage materials efficiently, aligning supply with development needs and budgets.
  • Attend regular site meetings and carry out ongoing site inspections.
  • Support ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of residential developments with opportunities for career progression.
Skills & knowledge
  • Proven experience of working within the residential property or house builder sector.
  • A construction-related qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3+ in Site Supervision or Construction Management) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with NHBC standards, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with the site team, contractors, and customers.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise, and manage time constraints effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with specifications.
  • IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and site operatives effectively.
