A leading charity organization in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support running a Boutique charity shop. Responsibilities include maximizing shop income, acting as brand ambassador, and ensuring a high-quality retail experience. The ideal candidate has retail experience, ability to manage a team, and understanding of financial controls. Work pattern: 14 hours on a rota basis (to include weekends)
Salary: Up to £8,977.77 per annum

This position will support the running of one of our Boutique charity shops, where customers discover a curated selection of luxury fashion and accessories. As Assistant Shop Manager, you'll help create an elevated retail experience—combining exceptional customer service with a passion for sustainable style and Cats Protection's compassionate mission. From welcoming clients to maintaining high visual standards, you'll play a key role in delivering a premium shopping environment that reflects both quality and kindness.
Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops
Each of our shops has its own charm and personality due to our dedicated volunteers and colleagues. From vintage jewellery and jigsaws to harps and handbags, whether our customers are looking for that 'must have' item or simply a 'missing piece'.
