Overview

Fixed term contract until March 2026 • Part time 14 hours per week [over 7 days to include Sundays] • £9,345.95 pro rata • Location – Cherry Hinton, Cambridge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in driving sales and profits and work closely with staff and Volunteers to deliver the best level of customer service.
  • Lead in the absence of the Shop Manager, inspire and empower people around them, and maintain a friendly, positive approach.
  • Engage with customers and the local community to build support for the shop.
  • Support the running of the shop and contribute to achieving objectives in a retail environment.
  • Bring a creative ability to the role to enhance shop performance and customer experience.
  • Make a real difference to young people in England by helping to raise vital funds for frontline work.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff and volunteers.
  • Ability to lead in the absence of the Shop Manager and instill energy in the team.
  • Friendly, positive approach and good communication skills both inside and outside the shop.
  • Ability to engage with the local community and support shop development.
