Assistant Service Manager – Grimsby

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager in Grimsby on a full time contract (37.5 hours per week) and should have a full drivers licence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career and progress their development.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.

What you will be doing
  • Be confident in being able to work using a computer and electronic systems.
  • Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
  • Support the team with their development.
  • Ensuring compliance across the team and service.
Key responsibilities
  • Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Be confident to support with leading and managing a team.
  • Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site.
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not an essential.
Requirements
  • Full drivers licence – this role requires you to be a driver.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting a service team (supervisory experience desirable).
