A leading mental health service provider in Prestwich is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Accountant to produce monthly management accounts and provide financial support to managers. The Assistant Service Accountant role is responsible for the production of monthly management accounts and for providing sound financial advice and support to Operational Managers, both clinical and non-clinical, at Ward/Department and Directorate level.
This is a key role in supporting and working with financial and operational colleagues in delivering excellent patient services in the Manchester Care Group Division.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
To provide financial and management accountancy services to Manchester Care Group, ensuring that clients receive relevant, accurate and timely financial advice. Maintain systems and processes to ensure that the Trust can achieve the strategy on a stable financial platform. You will also assist with training, projects and financial procedures as required.
