ROLE: Assistant Sales Manager
LOCATION: St Albans
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30 – 6.00. Saturday 8.30 – 5.00. Sunday 10.00 – 4.00. YOU ONLY DO A 5 DAY WEEK
SALARY: £32,500 basic – £65,000 OTE + car + benefits

Flame Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our client and help to lead our vehicle sales team at their dealer in Hertfordshire

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and offers the opportunity to join a leading regional automotive group whilst representing a one of the world’s leading brands whilst taking your first step on the management ladder.

Duties:
  • Working alongside the sales manager, managing the team of experienced vehicle sales executives
  • Motivating the team to meet sales targets on vehicles and finance and insurance products
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
  • Ensuring that the highest standards of presentation are in place at all times
  • Liaising with customers, both face-to-face and by phone/email
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction index scores are consistently high
  • Handling any customer complaints in an efficient and effective way
  • Collating finance proposals for customers

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet a goal
  • A calm and professional manner
