Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

We are working with a leading refurbishment and fit out company based in Essex who oversee contracts in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial, Education and Council Frameworks sectors. The projects which they take on can value up to £5m.

This role would be perfect for someone who is looking to get into Quantity Surveying. You would be office based with some site visits so will need to be local to Clacton-on-Sea.

You will be;

• Assisting with the preparation of valuations and financial reports.
• Support in managing subcontractor accounts, including variations and final accounts.
• Help with forecasting and budgeting throughout the project duration.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Provide assistance in pricing and negotiating contract changes.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with various teams to maintain project progression.

Requirements;

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related discipline is preferable
• Experience in construction is preferable
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-paced working environment.
