Job Title: Assistant Property Analyst

Contract Type: 12 month FTC

Location: London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 3rd December 2025

We are currently looking for a technically strong candidate to provide analytical support to the Portfolio Fund Managers, Heads of Sector and Asset Managers within the Property team.

This role will be critical in supporting the continued development of property Data team at RLAM. The role will include regular and ad hoc reporting for client reports, bespoke data requests, engaging with external research consultants, data reconciliation, performance attribution and coordinating business plan process for the future.

You will be part of a small team working closely with Senior Data Strategy Manager and the wider business with good exposure to different stakeholders internally and externally.

About the role
  • Assist with internal and external reporting requirements (including the Monthly Performance reports, Investment Committee reports, Quarterly Investor reports, Fund Datasheet)
  • Ensure fund accounting, reporting and performance numbers are accurate and correct and completed within the necessary time limits
  • Conduct attribution analysis to understand drivers of performance and relative positions in comparison to benchmarks
  • Act as principle point of contact for internal Finance and Performance management teams
  • Provide monthly and quarterly estimates to RLAM Performance Team
  • Coordinate delivery and sign off MSCI / AREF data submissions
  • Review and respond to queries from MSCI
  • Propose initiatives to improve processes and procedures, as appropriate/relevant
  • Volunteer as necessary and appropriate when opportunities arise at team, RLAM and Group level - including charity and ELBA events, helping with summer/work experience students etc.
  • Act as a super user for Argus Enterprise.
  • Review valuation data on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Engage with fund valuers to ensure that asset classifications are updated and recorded correctly
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Yardi/JLL Pioneer
About you
  • Previous experience of working with and validating large complex data sets
  • Experience of working in research, economics or performance analysis
  • Advanced investment performance data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of attribution analysis methods and strong understanding of the drivers of investment performance
  • Knowledge of Argus Investor and/or Yardi would be beneficial
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to summarise complex scenarios in a concise and clear manner
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Experience with the Power BI, Argus Enterprise, Alteryx, Snowflake, Sigma
  • Previous exposure to real estate businesses is considered a plus
  • Strong Excel skills with an interest in financial modelling
