We're looking for a creative and passionate Assistant Print Designer to join our F&F Essentials team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring designer who thrives on spotting the latest design and social trends and bringing them to life through original, hand‑illustrated prints. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our underwear and nightwear ranges across ladies lingerie, kidswear, and menswear. You'll use your creativity to design prints that resonate with our customers, while also contributing to colour forecasting and spec creation. We're looking for someone who is proactive, inquisitive, and confident in challenging ideas to push projects forward.   • Providing design, product development and sampling support to keep the team running smoothly.
  • Proactive communications with the buying and design teams, creating awareness of emerging trends and colours.
  • Conducting customer and competitor research to inform your designs, create reports to share within design team meetings.
  • Contributing to the department's design direction, being proactive in identifying core lines, key statements and colours to drive sales.
  • Understanding best and worst lines to influence seasonal strategy and product opportunities.
  • Designing balanced ranges understanding range principles.
  • Supporting the delivery of 'must haves' and seasonal/trend products for our customer.
  • Resolving day to day operational issues/queries, escalating where appropriate.
  • Assisting your manager by designing the correct number of options to meet the needs of the department.
