A leading educational institution in Scotland is seeking an Assistant Principal Curriculum to lead their Centre for Health and Wellbeing. The successful candidate will manage a team of 140 staff, shape curriculum strategies, and ensure excellent teaching and learning outcomes. The role requires strong leadership skills, a degree-level qualification, and ideally a background in Health and Wellbeing. Salary: £80,753

Edinburgh College is looking for an exceptional leader to head up our Centre for Health and Wellbeing. Leading a team of 140 staff, including three Heads of Department, you’ll shape the future of our curriculum, champion innovation, and drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student success.
As part of the Senior Management Team, you’ll work closely with Vice Principals and colleagues to provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the Centre plays a key role in delivering the College’s vision and values. From steering curriculum development and quality assurance to managing resources and building strong partnerships with employers and communities, you’ll be at the forefront of making a lasting impact.
You’ll be an experienced and inspirational leader with a strong track record in college management and team leadership. Strategic and ambitious, you know how to set direction, deliver results, and lead change with impact. With excellent communication and stakeholder skills, you’re skilled at influencing and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll hold a degree-level qualification (SCQF Level 9+), with a background in Health and Wellbeing and/or a teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent) an advantage. Most importantly, you’re ready to make a real difference—shaping the future of Health and Wellbeing education and helping learners achieve their potential.
