Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Allocator, Trainee Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser.
• Strong numerical ability and experience with Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Effective planning and self‑organisation capabilities.
• Experience in a retail environment is ideal, with knowledge of merchandising principles and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising team to ensure right product placement.
• Drive sales and profitability by analyzing data and managing stock levels.
• Assist in forecasting, allocations, and trading decisions.
• Review stock performance and suggest appropriate actions.
• Supervise and train the Trainee Merchandiser as needed.
