Job Description

About the role...

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Ye Olde Smack, a historic pub located in the heart of Leigh-on-sea. Our busy liquor-led business is situated on the Thames Estuary, just a 1-minute walk from the beach.

Ye Olde Smack's history is rife with stories of smugglers and secret tunnels that camouflaged the contraband arriving into the estuary. A smack is an old fishing boat that sneaks through the water like a snake, perfect for pirates back in the day. Our large open-plan traditional Pub is located on a lovely cobbled street with large open fireplaces and a fabulous rear patio looking over the sea.

What you'll do as an Assistant Manager...

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.

• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers
• Act as a role model for the team support with training and development
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times
