Overview

In this role you will support the Management Accountant by preparing monthly management accounts and reports, while also contributing to the daily operations of the Finance Department.

This hands-on role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including preparing key month-end workpapers and reconciliations, ensuring high-quality and error-free journal entries, and producing clear, actionable cost and opex reports for stakeholders across the business. Beyond the month-end cycle, the role supports the smooth running of finance operations by processing employee expenses, assisting with statutory accounts and audits, and contributing to key compliance activities such as tax filings and external reporting. With opportunities to collaborate across teams, including AP and AR, and to step in during staff absences, this is a fast-paced and rewarding role at the heart of the organisation\'s financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports; prepare key month-end workpapers and reconciliations.
  • Ensure high-quality, error-free journal entries and produce clear cost and opex reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Foundational understanding of accounting and financial reporting, from prior work experience or higher education.
