Ideal candidates will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or be AAT qualified, possess strong Excel skills, and have relevant experience. Overview

Fin Search are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis for an exciting, future proof business based in Middlesbrough.

Reporting in to a CIMA qualified Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will be working as part of a small team, responsible for assisting with the production of a timely and accurate monthly management accounts pack.

Responsibilities

The duties will include, however are not limited to:

  • Posting journals such as accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Assisting with variance analysis
  • Assisting with information gathering for internal and external audits
Qualifications
  • Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or be AAT qualified
  • Have worked in a relevant accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously
  • Have strong Excel skills
  • Have very good verbal and written communication skills
