Overview

A leading manufacturing business based in Aylesbury is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. Location: Aylesbury. Salary: £40,000. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing management accounts for multiple entities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Assisting with stocktakes and audits, including year-end schedules.
  • Handling purchase ledger duties such as processing invoices, payments, and supplier queries.
  • Supporting with internal and external commission calculations.
  • Maintaining the company price book and managing customer discount uploads.
  • Providing sales ledger support.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects and duties as required.
About You / Qualifications

The successful candidate will ideally be studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or be qualified by experience. You will also bring:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
