  • Assist the HV Project Manager in delivering NEC ECC HV Projects.
  • Coordinate project activities, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets.
  • Participate in monthly project reviews with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and compliance.

Assistant HV Project Manager

Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk (5 days a week onsite).

Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Assistant HV Project Manager to join our Site Operations Team. This role involves supporting the mobilisation of early services, transitioning to full service provision, and overseeing operation and maintenance. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Principal Contractor team to ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HV Project Manager in delivering NEC ECC HV Projects, including:
  • 132kV Substation construction and 132kV cable routing
  • Construction Electricity Supply (CES) Package Substations & 11kV network
  • Coordinate project activities, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, providing regular updates
  • Participate in monthly project reviews with the Senior Leadership Team

Assist with:

  • Commercial and financial tasks
  • Programme, risk, change control, and quality management
  • Resource scheduling and material call-offs
  • Site safety inspections and compliance
