Overview

Your new company UK arm of an international organisation seeks to appoint an assistant accountant within their financial controlling team on an initial 3-month interim contract in the Andover area.

Responsibilities

• You will assist senior leadership in maintaining strong financial controls and accurate reporting in a busy and dynamic finance function. You will handle banking tasks including payment runs and reconciliations, support month-end close activities, prepare VAT returns and surveys, act as an audit liaison, and continuously work to improve financial processes to safeguard company assets and enhance core finance operations.
• Furthermore, you will support the wider AR/AP teams with the more complex elements of the ledger management as required.
