We are seeking a London ‑ based Assistant Company Secretary (ACS) to join our Group Company Secretary team. This is an exceptionally busy and high‑profile function at the forefront of our internal corporate governance for our group entities across the globe . The role is central to maintaining governance discipline across our global group entities and to enabling effective decision‑making at Board and Committee level. This is a permanent hybrid role based in our London office.
Reporting to the Group Company Secretary, you will help support all aspects of corporate governance for the Maples Group. You will support Boards and Committees, draft minutes and resolutions, maintain accurate corporate records and trackers, coordinate cross‑jurisdictional requirements and drive timely, high‑quality governance outputs. The environment is fast‑paced, delivery‑focused and collaborative, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and to the breadth of our global businesses.
Success in this role is measured by the punctual delivery of meeting cycles and materials, the clarity and completeness of minutes and resolutions, the accuracy of entity records and signatory registers, and the closure of actions in accordance with agreed timelines.
You will demonstrate ownership, maintain a calm and organised approach under pressure and consistently raise the standard of our governance outputs.
