Main duties of the job

JOB OVERVIEW

Please see attached job specification and recruitment letter. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the nominated Specialist CAMHS service, and where appropriate YAMHS service, to in summary:

  • Support the overall psychological care and treatment of children, young people and families within the service.
  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist; including the use of specialist psychometric assessments.
  • Under supervision, to deliver brief psychological interventions.
  • Support the qualified Clinical Psychologist in the development and delivery of workshops and training packages.
  • Participate in audit, research, service evaluation, and project activities.

The successful candidate will need to have a BPS accredited MSc in Psychology.
