Pernod Ricard is made up of four business units:

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers our 1,600‑strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

Your unique contribution

In this role you’ll help shape the digital voice of our brand, creating content that sparks engagement and strengthens brand equity across global and regional campaigns.

You’ll collaborate with talented teams and creative partners to deliver best‑in‑class digital experiences blending creativity with data‑driven decision‑making. If you love ideating, experimenting, and pushing boundaries in the digital space, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Key responsibilities
Creative Content Development
  • Support the creation of engaging digital content for global/regional campaigns and owned social channels.
  • Work with Digital, SBM Comms, SBM and Marketing Managers to align content with consumer insights and media planning needs (CAM).
  • Support the development of inspiring briefs that challenge agencies to deliver innovative best‑in‑class high quality work.
Creative Collaboration
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with creative agencies and partners.
  • Ensure integration of visual identity is consistently applied by leveraging and deploying toolkits across all digital assets.
Cultural Content Development
  • Collaborate with the wider Ballantines team and C&C CoE to create and evolve digital cultural content.
  • Support partnership and sponsorship initiatives, influencer marketing programmes, and ensure content is optimised for cultural relevance.
Insights & Performance Reporting
  • Comfortable working with data insight to inform content plans and optimisations.
  • Set and monitor KPIs, track performance metrics and support pre‑ and post‑testing protocols to maximise asset effectiveness.
Channel & Community Management
Manage and maintain social channel (FB TW IG YT Pinterest)
  • Oversee content calendars, asset documentation and community engagement (proactive and reactive).
  • Monitor UGC and ensure timely publishing and housekeeping across platforms.
Budget & Compliance
  • Log costs and assist with budget control ensuring compliance with working/non‑working budget guidelines.

  • Internally: The Ballantines Brand Team, CCMs, VP Marketing, Culture & Creative, Head of Digital Marketing (Gold BU), internal creative studio.
  • Externally: Creative agencies.
Your blend of talent
Experience
  • 12 years of experience in marketing, brand management or digital content creation.
  • Exposure to consumer insight analysis and applying findings to creative strategies.
  • Experience working with creative agencies, content creators and production teams.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and tools for measuring content effectiveness (e.g. Google Analytics, social media insights).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and social insights tools.
Knowledge
  • Understanding of brand strategy and how digital content supports brand equity.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in digital marketing (e.g. GenAI, social commerce).
  • Basic knowledge of content platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta Ads Manager).
  • Basic knowledge and familiarity with digital/social advertising.
  • Familiarity with creative briefing processes and campaign development cycles.
Skills
  • Exceptional creative thinking and storytelling ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling content ideas.
  • Ability to interpret data and insights to inform decisions.
