A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Accountant in the Rhymney Valley area, responsible for supporting the finance function and managing key elements of month-end management accounts. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, possess strong Excel skills, and have a proactive attitude towards their work. Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate seeking broad exposure across a full finance function.
• Should be proactive, with excellent organisational skills.
• Experience with an ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations with strong audit trails.
• Assist with auditing and year-end schedules.
