Job description

Agility are delighted to be working for an OUTSTANDING organisation based in Leicester. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced and talented Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team. The successful candidate must hold level 3 AAT and have experience within accounts.

Your role:

• All round purchase ledger including purchase order requisitions, receipt any open invoices and processing invoices against receipted orders
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Create new supplier accounts
• Processing expenses
• Assisting the finance manager with month end accounts including gathering information for prepayments and year end audits
• Sending remittance advice to suppliers
• Other ad hoc duties

Person Specification

• Hold a minimum qualification of AAT level 3
• 5 years experience within a financial environment
• Experience of working with high volumes of invoices
• Driven
• High Attention to detail
• Base salary of £25,000 + (depending on experience)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
