A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in Dilton Marsh. The ideal candidate will assist with month-end accounts, reconciliations, and support audits. Qualifications

  • Familiar with accruals, prepayments, reconciliation, and general accounting principles.
  • Previous experience in an accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing month-end management accounts.
  • Post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Code purchase invoices to General Ledger.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Support operational teams with financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with departments for smooth financial processes.
  • Assist with the year-end audit process.

ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Junior Accountant to join a fantastic company that offer progression.

Location: Near Westbury

Salary: Competitive Salary - Negotiable Depending on Experience (£26K - £32K or higher)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week

Day to day responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of the month end management accounts and commentary
  • Posting Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
  • Balance sheet Reconciliations
  • Coding purchase invoices to General Ledger
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Producing Daily, Weekly and monthly reports
  • Supporting the operational teams by providing financial analysis as required
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes
  • Support the year-end audit process
Skills & Behaviours
  • Familiar will accruals / prepayments / reconciliation, general accounting principles.
  • Previous experience with working in an accounting team
  • You have fantastic attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy in this role.
