Qualifications
- Part qualified Accountant with relevant studies.

Responsibilities
- Support preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting function.
- Prepare Year-End accounts and control account reconciliations.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage the company's Fixed Assets Register.
- Monitor daily cash flow for adequate liquidity.
- Manage employee expenses policy and claims.
- Support VAT return processes.
- Review supplier payment runs.
Skills
Part qualified Accountant studying with CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent

This role will initially be on a 9 month contract basis with a view to going permanent.

What you'll do
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting and compliance processes.
- Assist with the comprehensive preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting function, liaising effectively with other finance sub-departments.
- Perform ongoing Year-End accounts preparation, including control account reconciliations and Balance Sheet schedules.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Manage the company's Fixed Assets Register.
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
- Manage the company's employee expenses policy and claims, ensuring adherence and timely processing.
- Checking and supporting the process for UK and ROI VAT returns.
- Review and approve weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
- Provide cover and support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams during holiday periods or peak times.
About You
Essential
- Part qualified Accountant studying with either CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to use own initiative and demonstrate a high level of organisational skill.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial people.
