About the Role

As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the production of monthly management accounts for both Bailey Caravans and PRIMA Leisure. This successful applicant will be not only responsible for delivering accurate and well-presented information in a timely manner but have the autonomy to shape and improve processes as they see fit, with support from the Management Accounting team.

You will be comfortable working within a team structure and willing to develop with the role in order to support the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of weekly and ad hoc reporting as required,
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations,
  • Responsible for administering all company credit cards,
  • Conduct monthly control account reconciliations,
  • Carry out regular overhead analysis,
  • Assist the rest of the team with the production of Management Accounts,
  • Partial involvement in the accounts payable function as and when required, this may involve processing and invoice matching.
Your Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Newly Qualified AAT desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Confident, with good communication skills
  • Initiative to suggest and implement improvements to current processes, with support from Group Accountant.
