Job summary

A leading housing organization in Wales is seeking a Data Lead to analyze and report on property improvement programs, connect data insights across teams, and lead a small team. What is great about the role
  • You'll lead on tracking analysing and reporting the impact of our annual 50M Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023 (WHQS23) property improvement programmes using real-time remote sensing data to monitor property conditions support data-driven investment decisions and identify opportunities to enhance our customers living environments
  • You'll be part of a team that is making homes more sustainable energy efficient and comfortable for people to live in.
  • You'll lead a small team of colleagues supporting their growth and helping them reach their potential.
  • You'll have the opportunity to influence projects- directly improving the quality of peoples homes.
  • You'll be at the forefront of using new technology (like remote-sensing and smart systems) to monitor and improve the performance of our housing stock.

Where does this role fit in

The role sits within the Asset Intelligence team and reports to the Asset Intelligence Manager. You'll connect data and insights across the organisation working with colleagues in asset management compliance finance health and safety neighbourhoods and sustainability. You'll also collaborate with external partners such as contractors consultants and local authorities to enhance the quality of data and support better services. As a Data Lead you'll help create a supportive and high-performing environment.

What skills and experience do you need

We are looking for someone who can work with complex IT systems and analyse data to spot trends forecast outcomes and guide evidence-based decisions. You should have advanced skills in Excel and system integration with knowledge of housing quality standards such as WHQS23. Experience in leading projects managing people and working collaboratively across teams is key. A background in property refurbishment or retrofit decarbonisation is desirable with PAS2035 knowledge an advantage.

What are the pay and benefits
  • This is a permanent role for 37 hours per week. Salary is 51242
  • Base locations : SwanseaNewport orCardiff
  • We offerflexible working policies this is a hybrid role
  • Predominantly Monday to Friday with the option to request a compressed 9-day fortnight
  • A Basic DBS is required for the role which we pay for
