Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a mainstream primary school in Chatham, Kent. This full-time position requires a patient and adaptable individual with previous experience supporting children with ASD. The successful candidate will assist with learning activities and implement strategies to support behaviour and emotional regulation. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.

Qualifications

SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD (1:1 Support)

Location: Chatham, Kent

Hours: Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

Academics Rochester are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream primary school in Chatham.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with children with ASD and be confident supporting their academic, social, and emotional development within a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
