Our client is a well-established asbestos company servicing a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK. They are recruiting for a committed and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor based in or around the Torquay area. The successful candidate will ideally hold the P402 asbestos certificate and have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveying duties on various site types. Consideration will also be given to trainee asbestos surveyors who hold the P402 and wish to build on their site experience. Applications are sought from Newton Abbot, Dawlish, Dartmouth, Brixham and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have attained the P402 asbestos certificate or an equivalent RSPH qualification, or be at least at trainee level.
  • Previous experience of asbestos surveying within the industry.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Well versed in asbestos health & safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on various properties, both commercial and industrial.
  • Consulting and liaising with clients from all levels.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Collating and producing accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
