Job description

Our client, is a highly respected name within the asbestos industry with a reputation for providing specialist asbestos services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, hardworking and adaptable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Preston area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates and will have experienced carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Applications from Blackpool, Burnley, Blackburn, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• The applicant must will ideally hold the P402, P403 and P404, asbestos certificate, or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
• Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.
• Good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
• Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial, domestic and industrial.
• Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they comply with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
• Produce accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with our large portfolio of clients.
