Job description

We are working closely with an industry leading, UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy in Essex. They are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of surveying services across Commercial and Industrial sites, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Our client can offer a competitive basic salary, opportunities for overtime, company pension scheme and excellent holiday allowance.

Successful candidate will be covering East Anglia / Home Counties and surrounding areas: Chelmsford, Maldon, Chelmsford, Basildon, Brentwood, Cheshunt, Harlow, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Felixstowe, Ipswich, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Stevenage, Hertford, St Albans, Watford, Luton, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Brackley.

Experience & Qualifications

• At a minimum, will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH qualification.
• Will have extensive experience carrying out surveys on Commercial and Industrial sites.
• Must have a positive and willing attitude.
• Extensive experience using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.

The Role

• Visiting Commercial & Industrial sites, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
• Carrying out sampling of ACMs.
• Bagging and labelling ACMs prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis.
• Carrying out re-occupation surveys upon completion of work.
• Carrying out work in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
• Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
