Position: Asbestos Operations Manager

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

Salary / Benefits: £30k – £45k + Bonus Scheme + Car Allowance + Pension

Responsibilities
  • Pricing up asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys.
  • Managing and coordinating the asbestos abatement process.
  • Sourcing, pricing and costing of removal works.
  • Overseeing and providing ongoing support to asbestos site staff, managing workload and training.
  • Organising the works programme and scheduling work.
  • Undertaking audits and regular inspections of work.
  • Attending meetings with clients and ensuring projects run within agreed timelines.
  • Liaising with clients to provide consultancy advice and recommendations on further works.
  • Involved in recruiting new staff.
  • Writing RAMS and contributing to quality control, method statements and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Ideally a degree.
  • Minimum of the P402 / P405 qualifications.
  • Previous/current experience working on healthcare contracts and good technical knowledge of associated legislation.
  • Experience in a client‑facing role, advising and supporting clients.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on technical reporting.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare sites and legislation.
  • Experience with p401/p402/p403/p404 or S301/CCP.
