An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager to join a large local authority housing provider. This is a senior compliance-focused role responsible for leading asbestos management and wider health and safety compliance across council homes and communal areas. You will act as the competent person under CAR 2012, providing expert technical leadership, ensuring full statutory compliance, and overseeing contractors delivering asbestos surveys, re‑inspections and remedial works. The role plays a key part in ensuring safe, high-quality housing and strong resident communication.
