We are seeking a dedicated Art/DT Instructor to join a progressive SEN School in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team where your creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment to student-centered learning will be highly valued.



What You'll Do


  • Plan and deliver engaging and accessible Art and Design Technology lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with SEN.

  • Inspire students to explore a range of materials, tools, and creative processes in a safe and supportive workshop or classroom environment.

  • Support students in developing fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence through hands-on projects.

  • Contribute to school-wide creative events and projects that celebrate the achievements of our students.



What We\'re Looking For


  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Experience or a strong interest in working with students with special educational needs.

  • A valid DBS on the update service.

  • Strong subject knowledge in both Art and Design Technology.

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills, with a patient and adaptable approach.

  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
