A government agency is seeking a White Fleet Vehicle Manager Team Leader to oversee vehicle fleet management at JMC Centre. The role involves processing transport requisitions, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and managing compliance with service regulations. This position is full-time, requiring presence in the office at least 60% of the time.

The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 7,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. Ours is a diverse workforce, with roles ranging from trainers, human resources, teachers, and psychologists to storekeepers, financiers, project and programme managers, and policy secretariat staff. There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army. As such using data to aid understanding of our workforce is vital.
Headquarters Joint Military Commander (JMC) Centre enables the delivery of Firm Base support to the Army, its personnel, and their dependants from the Welsh borders in the West to Lowestoft in the East. The Headquarters delivers Real Life Support to Garrisons, Stations and Units within the Central area. It is also responsible for the engagement with the civilian community and acts as the proponent for UK Resilience in times of need. This is an exciting time to be joining Headquarters JMC Centre whilst continuing to deliver operational outputs to our dependent Units, military personnel, and their families.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. The White Fleet Vehicle Manager Team Leader oversees and is responsible for the management of the White Fleet (WF) vehicle fleet provision and usage across JMC Centre's Area of Responsibility (AoR).

The post does not offer relocation expenses. External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period. Expenses for interview travel are not reimbursed. The Department is reviewing pay related allowances which could impact current allowances.
