Are you a professional Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager looking to unlock your career potential? You'll sell our growing range of high-quality door and window hardware solutions to new and existing joinery, fenestration and construction customers across the South East. BASIC SALARY: up to GBP50,000 per annum

LOCATION: Home based, you will ideally be living in the South East of the UK

JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Joinery, Fenestration, Construction

As our Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll be home-based, covering the whole of the South East. Order values are varied and are likely to range from GBP1,000 to the GBP10,000's. You will have access to approximately 1000 active accounts, and you'll enjoy the support of our back-office team who will cover you with producing quotes, marketing support and more.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. 60% account management and up-sell, 40% new business development.
2. Presenting and demonstrating products.
3. Regular face-to-face customer meetings.
4. Closing opportunities and building long-term repeat business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Joinery, Fenestration, Construction

As our Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll have a proven track record of closing industrial type sales and developing long-term client accounts across the South East. You may have owned your own joinery business or sold within the timber, PVC, Aluminum door & window sector. Above all you'll bring the drive and self-motivation needed to build your (and our) reputation throughout your territory.

In addition you will:

1. Be an expert at planning your time, to maximise your time in front of your customers.
2. Ideally bring previous experience of selling to the construction, fenestration, and / or joinery sectors.
3. Be competent with IT systems and CRM packages (we use NetSuite and full training will be provided).
4. Be used to working as part of a team, supporting others and building positive internal relationships.
