Key responsibilities:

-Management of cleaning operatives at client sites on daily basis.

-Visit assigned sites on a regular basis to audit our delivery, QMS, H&S

-Budgetary control of costs v budgets. Variances understood and explained.

-Creation of purchase orders as and when needed, approve invoices for payment.

-Provide strong customer support in line with contract SLA's.

-Dealing with suppliers daily. Responsible for signing off for payment of supplier invoices.

-Mobilise new contract wins, follow the Mitie Mobilization plan from TUPE through to steady state.

-Motivate Mitie onsite staff, train, supervise and organise replacement cover where required.

-Agree any training needs and free up staff accordingly.

-Support business development regarding surveys, pricing, meeting prospective clients.

-Undertake performance management of staff under your control, performance manage as necessary.

-Manage disciplinary and grievance issues with guidance from HR to adopt a consistent approach.

-Review applications, interview and select new recruits as and when approved and required.

-Provide a safe working environment for our employees on client sites & to co-operate & co-ordinate with clients on site health & safety matters.

-Complete “Toolbox” talks with staff on a regular basis



About you:

-Previous Facilities Management or related industry experience required.

-Good people management skills, with at least 2 years demonstrable team management ·

-Interest in delivering outsourced Soft Services

-Commercial awareness

-Budget Management & resource planning.

-Proven track record in a demanding environment.

-Excellent communication and organisational skills.
