Location: Based at Portree High School (Covering Skye and Lochalsh Area)
Hours: 25 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £15,668 - £17,160 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To travel to various locations assisting in the day-to-day operational requirements of the Service. To organise, administer and directly participate in the provision of a multi-choice traditional or cash-cafeteria catering service including the provision of welfare meals. This will encompass direct control over production, ordering provisions, cash collection and banking of Highland Council Monies.

The smooth and efficient running of catering services, in compliance with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007.

Requirements

This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:

  • You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
  • You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
