Overview

Architectural Technician / Architect - Exciting Opportunity in Uxbridge. Are you an ambitious Architectural Technician or Architect looking for a varied role where projects can differ? This growing practice is a multidisciplinary design and project consultancy, delivering architectural and building design services across the residential, commercial, and education sectors. With a strong client base of councils, housing associations, schools, and private developers, they’re seeking an Architectural Technician or Architect (open to all levels and years of experience) to join their expanding team and make an impact on a wide range of projects.

The Role and Responsibilities

As an Architectural Technician or Architect, you will:

  • Work on diverse projects including school developments, residential schemes, and internal alterations.
  • Produce detailed drawings for extensions, remodelling, new builds, and expansion projects ranging from £10k to several million.
  • Collaborate closely with senior staff and directors in a supportive, family-style office environment.
  • Gain exposure to project management and building surveying alongside technical design if you wish to develop a wider skill-set.
  • Contribute to construction site visits and hands-on project delivery.
Must Have Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
  • CIAT or RIBA membership (Preferable).
  • A collaborative, approachable, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and self-develop.
  • A driving licence and access to a car, as projects are across Greater London.
Salary

Level dependent.
