Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

About Us

Stenton Obhi Architects is a small but ambitious RIBA Chartered Practice based in Milton Keynes. With a diverse and expanding portfolio across a range of project types, we are committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtful design and technical excellence.

We are looking for a RIBA Part 3 qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ UK post-qualification experience to join our team in a long-term role. This is an opportunity for an architect who is dynamic, confident, and determined, and who wants to play an integral role in shaping the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to projects across all RIBA Plan of Work stages, from concept through to completion.
  • Produce high-quality design work, technical drawings, and construction details.
  • Coordinate planning applications and liaise with local authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations Approved Documents, Planning Policy, and Legislation.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part 3 qualified, with minimum 5 years’ UK experience post-qualification.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Skilled in SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (essential).
  • Additional 3D modelling and rendering experience advantageous.
  • Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under own initiative.
  • Live within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes and hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Must be a UK resident or hold an appropriate work permit.
