Atelierdb Architects are looking for a qualified architect with up to 5 years experience or an experienced Part ii Architectural Assistant to join our small studio in South West London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual seeking new challenges to help grow the business through quality design, delivery and business development.
Projects presently include Hospitality, Leisure and Private Residential.
Candidate requirements
- Proven track record of delivering UK projects through all RIBA workstages
- Experience and knowledge of Heritage Assets, retrofitting and Listed Buildings/Heritage Assets
- Fitout and interior experience including joinery items, internal finishes
- Have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken, technical and social
- Have excellent AutoCAD skills
- Competent in Adobe suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and sketchup
- Be competent in navigating planning and permitted development within the London Boroughs and undertaking applications.
- Have a good knowledge and experience of Building Regulations
- Be experienced in sustainable design, ASHP/MVHR/Solar Panels/Natural Insulations
- Comply with the duties as Principal Designer and Lead Consultant
- Be driven to take the Design lead on projects and push design boundaries
- Have a wish to help grow the office through Design Quality
- Interest and experience in Business Development
