A leading healthcare provider in Eastbourne offers a 3-year apprenticeship in Radiotherapy. The role involves practical training and academic study, leading to qualification as a Therapeutic Radiographer. Candidates will work closely with a team, ensuring patient needs are met consistently. The program starts in March 2026 with interviews in October 2025.
During the apprenticeship period, you will spend 80% of your time in a Radiotherapy Support Worker role as part of the Radiotherapy team and 20% of your time learning off the job in dedicated learning activities.
This is a 3-year apprenticeship programme combining academic study (mostly via distance learning with Sheffield Hallam University) and practical training at our Radiotherapy departments: The Royal Sussex County Hospital, Preston Park Radiotherapy Centre and Eastbourne Radiotherapy Unit. On successful completion and registration with HCPC, you will transition to the role of a newly qualified band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer. Programme Start Date: March 2026. Interviews: Approx. October 2025.
