What will you do?

You will work in the Glasgow region. This opportunity will give you a chance to gain valuable practical experience in Gas Engineering, all whilst learning the keys skills and knowledge of working in a multi-trade operation helping to build a career in the industry. You will work towards a Level 3 nationally recognised qualification in Gas Engineering, leading to an Apprenticeship Standard SCQF 6 nationally recognised qualification at the end. You will receive off-the-job training at college to support your development, and be supported by the team to ensure you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities and qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Good practical and problem solving skills
  • Enjoy getting stuck in to physical work
  • Hold or on track to hold a full valid UK driving licence, in order to drive a company van on completion
