About us

Greystone House Residential Care Home Ltd is a friendly family ran residential care home, providing high quality care and support for 23 residents with enduring mental health problems. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of care professionals through our apprenticeship program.

The Role

As an Apprentice Care Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced care team to provide personalized care and support to our residents. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical work experience while studying towards a QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) qualification in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, and mobility
  • Support residents with their dietary and nutritional needs
  • Monitor and record residents' health and well-being
  • Engage with residents in social and recreational activities
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high standards of care
