Job summary

A global manufacturing leader is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll convert customer enquiries into tailored solutions and work closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and a proven track record in relevant fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with draughting/modelling experience, particularly in Inventor. The position is based in the North East of England.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of relevant experience in engineering roles.
• Previous experience in O&G, Petrochemical, or Chemical facilities is advantageous.
• Proven draughting/modelling experience to support customer proposals.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer enquiries into tailored solutions for equipment and services.
• Provide quotations and support documentation for sales.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain effective costing processes.
• Lead technical training sessions for sales and customers.
• Organize project handover meetings to clarify customer requirements.
