Overview

CDM are currently recruiting for Application Technicians for a client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Responsibilities

• Test final systems after build, including fibre optic systems, electrical lines, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, using continuity testing to verify operation throughout the product.
• Carry out hydrostatic high-pressure testing.
• Work in a heavy engineering environment that is clean, modern, quiet and slow-paced, with a high degree of autonomy within a small team.
• Assist in up to 2 years of training across various forms of testing.
• Role is long-term agency work, with potential for permanent employment; not guaranteed.

Shift and salary

Basic salary £(phone number removed) (inclusive of shift allowance) / £21.16ph. Shift information: Continental shift pattern which doesn’t involve working weekends. Day shift 6:45 – 18:45. Night shift 18:45 – 6:45.
