Job description
Overview

I'm working with a well-regarded, independent building consultancy that is relocating its operations to Liverpool and is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor with a few years' experience to join their growing team.

This role would suit someone who has built a solid foundation in building surveying and is now looking for proper APC support, exposure to varied work, and a clear pathway to progression.

The business

The consultancy provides commercial building surveying and project advisory services to a loyal client base of investors, developers and occupiers. Their work spans office, industrial and mixed-use property, with a strong reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused advice.

They are deliberately structured to allow junior surveyors to gain hands-on experience, work closely with senior staff, and progress based on development rather than time served.

The role

You'll be involved in:

  • A mix of professional and project-based building surveying work
  • Assisting with and gradually leading instructions such as surveys, contract administration and project delivery
  • Working directly with senior surveyors and directors on live client instructions
  • Building the experience and competencies required for RICS chartership
